Sanriku Oshima: Bridge of Hearts is a photographic record of Oshima at the moment a bridge changed the island’s horizon. It traces not only the construction itself, but also the life before the bridge opened, the atmosphere of transition, and the encounters that gave the place its lasting presence. This is not simply a book about a structure, but a record of a place being quietly redrawn.
